ARI offers comprehensive training on iconography and the history of human branding, exploring how these elements have evolved into today’s forms of commercial exploitation. We partner with organizations dedicated to reducing recidivism and work alongside community partners to develop tangible solutions that combat commercial sexual exploitation, breaking stigmas around mental health and addiction, and promote open, healthy dialogue about the challenges our communities face. Additionally, we collaborate closely with the tattoo industry to build safe spaces where survivors can experience wholeness and freedom. We also provide first-hand expertise and knowledge on tattoo identifiers nationwide to the tattoo industry from a lived experience lens from a survivors of human trafficking.
Our licensed counselor use trauma-informed care & DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). These methods use a thorough understanding of the cognitive and social effects of trauma. Additionally, trauma-informed care and DBT is a person-centered response focused on improving individuals’ all-around wellness from a holistic approach. Online sessions are available.
Through community educational partnership, we offer an evidence-based diploma program that provides a pathway to a high school diploma (at any age) for high school dropouts. Obtaining a high school diploma increases job opportunities, Mental Health Wellness, Achievement, Opens the door to certifications, job training, and college education opportunities.
Atlanta Redemption Ink along with community partnerships, trains and certifies tattoo shops and removal specialist offices as SafePlace Sites. Safe Place is a national youth outreach and prevention program for young people under the age of 18 (up to 21 years of age in some communities) in need of immediate help and safety until local advocates can come to aid and access the situation.
Life Coaching aids and empowers individuals in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. Our life coaches can help clarify goals, identify the obstacles and come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle.
Through community partnerships, Atlanta Redemption Ink refers individuals with difficult backgrounds and/or criminal records to staffing agencies & advocate that specifically work to provide job opportunities to those with background hindrances. We believe liveable wage jobs opportunities with reputable companies can help prevent recidivism and from falling back into old lifestyles or patterns. These program referrals help people launch into their purpose and continue to thrive.
