About Our Founder

Jessica Lamb is a nationally recognized lived experience expert and advocate, dedicated to empowering individuals impacted by human trafficking, commercial exploitation, self-harm, addiction, and former gang involvement.

Although she’s not a tattoo artist, Jessica has spent over 20 years immersed in the tattoo industry. She has built a national network of trauma-informed tattoo artists and removal specialists who offer transformative services to survivors through Atlanta Redemption Ink (ARI), the nonprofit she founded and leads.

Jessica brings over 12 years of expertise in tattoo iconography, identification, and the history of human branding. She has served as an expert witness in trafficking cases, and trains thousands of law enforcement officers, prosecutors, educators, medical professionals, and community advocates across the country on recognizing tattoo indicators and working effectively with survivor leaders.

For more than a decade, she has trained and collaborated with the tattoo and body modification industry across the nation—equipping artists, piercers, and studios to recognize trafficking indicators, respond with trauma-informed care, and support survivor healing.

She works alongside survivor-led and non-survivor-led organizations, law enforcement, and community partners nationwide—evaluating genuine partnerships, building true allyship, and fostering collaboration that drives meaningful, lasting change.

Jessica’s work centers on one mission: ensuring that restoration, justice, and dignity are never out of reach.

In addition to her work with ARI, Jessica serves as a Peer Support Counselor, offering art therapy in behavioral health centers and safe homes. She also speaks personally on issues including spiritual abuse, navigating life Au/Dhd/neurodivergence and trafficking, grooming in faith and school environments, homelessness, and mental health.

Jessica is a mother, music lover, foodie, and bookworm. Her work has been honored with:

  • Georgia Trend’s Top 40 Under 40 (2021)

  • Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Leading Social Entrepreneur in Social Empowerment (2022)

  • Top 40 Georgia Innovators (2022)

  • Atlanta Magazine’s Women Making a Mark (2023)

Her work continues to bridge the gaps between the anti-trafficking movement, tattoo culture, mental health, and recovery communities—always centered on equity, action, and truth.
